Can you answer B2B 140810 x’s question about Caribbean?:
I’m getting married next year and am looking into honeymoon destinations. We want to go somewhere exotic like the Caribbean as it’s the perfect opportunity to do so.
Has anyone been? Would you recommend Barbados for a honeymoon?

Caribbean Feedback: I was recently in Barbados for a week with my family and we hated it. It was pretty but that’s about it. There’s not much to do except maybe play golf and lay on the beach, but the beaches weren’t even that great and they were really small. The people were kind of strange and the food was simply terrible! I could not be happier to return back to my cold connecticut suburb after a week.
My family has also been to Aruba and they absolutely loved it. My father has been to a few Carribbean Islands and Aruba has been his favorite. We have also been to St. Maartens and St. Barts and both were gorgeous and really enjoyable. Congratulations on your wedding!
Caribbean Feedback: I LOVE BARBADOS!
My FFIL is paying for my honeymoon and fingers crossed, he books there! Ive been before and it was amazing. We stayed at the almond beach spa. I highly recommend it. I dont know what the above poster is talking about, she must be weird! Its amazing. The beaches are the prettiest I have ever seen. There is a point in the Island ( its only 18 miles long) where you hike up and you see where the atlantic ocean meets the carribean. It is dreamy. The beaches are beautiful, food is excellent. If you are looking to relax and have fun in the sun, barbados is the best in the carribean…
It is quite pricy. A cheaper alternative is St. Lucia. But if you can afford it, id def recommend Barbados.
Enjoy your honeymoon
