Can you answer krissy’s question about Caribbean?:

My family (2 adults, 3 kids-3,14,&18) are planning on going to the caribbean in february or april…whats a really nice island to go to for a nice relaxing vacation? What are some good resorts (preferably with an outstanding beach and a spa) that aren’t super expensive…and what time of the year is best to go?
We would love to go somewhere where we can go snorkling or scuba diving and also go shopping…

Caribbean Feedback: Have you thought about all-inclusive’s? Especially with kids that are always hungry and thirsty you won’t have to worry about their “spending money” while your there. It’s ask and you shall receive. Maybe try sandals.com or trip adviser.com for some info. Hope this helped.

Caribbean Feedback: There are lots of places in the Caribbean that have great beaches and good snorkeling. For reasonable accommodations you may want to consider renting from an owner as an alternative to staying in a hotel. That way you can share costs and save money. For some Caribbean vacation rentals try this site:
Quite often the owners will let you know the things to do in the area so it might be worth looking it up, and then you could decide on a destination.
    Happy travels

    Caribbean Feedback: Try Barbados!

That country is paradise! Also, has so much to offer. You can take a tour bus to tour the whole island!

So much to do, so much to see!

This could be something for the 18-years-old if interested. The nightlife is GREAT! Check Harbour Lights (http://www.harbourlightsbarbados.com/ ), Boatyard (http://www.theboatyard.com/ ) and St. Lawrence Gap (http://www.thegapbarbados.com/ ),(http://www.barbados.org/stlaw.htm ).

St. Lawrence Gap has not only clubs, but restaurants, hotels, etc.. Such as The Ship Inn (http://www.shipinnbarbados.com/ ), Reggae Lounge, etc.!

Bridgetown, its capital, is known for duty-free shopping ranging from shoes to clothes to jewellery to books.

The beaches are fabulous, try Accra (known as Rockley Beach), Maxwell, Miami/Enterprise.

The people are friendly, some food are different (if you always want to try something different, you can try Fridays in Oistins (a town known for its fish market).

If interested, you can check out The Barbados Museum (http://www.barbmuse.org.bb/ ). Like I said, there’s so much to see in this whole island. You can try some cruises such as Jolly Roger (http://www.tallshipscruises.com/ ).

You can also check out Atlantis Adventures (http://www.atlantisadventures.com/barbados.cfm ), Harrison’s Cave (http://www.harrisonscave.com/ ), among other places, if this have sparked your interest, you can check out for more information below:

Public transportation – either a route taxi, minibus or big bus is $1.50 BDS) – you could even take a taxi but it’s expensive.

My brother and I went to one hotel, we weren’t staying there, though but we had seen that it had beauty salon, etc.. Bougainvillea Beach Resort. Not sure about the rates but you could inquire.

If you want to know about this hotel, you can check the website above. But I’m not sure about a spa. You can go anytime you want, but I wouldn’t advise going when it’s hurricane season which is from June 1 until Nov. 30). February or April sounds good, but beware of high season, always best to make reservations early if necessary. But if this isn’t the hotel you want, you can always try an all-inclusive one or do self-catering, depending on what you feel is right. You can check any others on .

    For diving/snorkeling: Try and/or

    Hope this helps.

Caribbean Feedback: Try Curacao. Has plenty of shopping, great hotels, nice beaches, and top of the class snorkeling and diving sites. Also has a rich culture.

Caribbean Feedback: Starfish Resort in Jamica- Its great I went there last year. Its a real family oriented hotel. They have nightclubs for children and adults respectively. You can do kayaking, snorkeling, it has a nice beach, spa, and several restaurants. I think they offer babysitting services.
