I worked in Nassau in my twenties for two years. This is a pictorial book with a minimum of text. I liked the balance between pictures and text. The pictures encompass all my memories of the place. The detail is there. Above all the exceptional colours are there. Quaint village life separated by water is there. It is an outstanding pictorial account of the Bahamas which is beautifully described. I am very grateful.

This is a nice book with some nice pictures but i was hoping for more ocean and beach pictures…its mainly pictures of the towns, buildings and local people. I would have enjoyed alot more beach pictures considering the bahamas have so many wonderful islands…
