Can’t get enough of the Pirates films? This book is a must for your shelf. It’s an entertaining read, and an easy one at that. If you’re into the characters from this trilogy of films, then you’ll enjoy this book. It stays true to the personalities of all of the characters, and sheds some light on the many intertwining stories. Not to mention, clearing up some pirate lingo. Worth the purchase.

Fanciful technical details provided by Master Gibbs provide a chance to unwind and savor the humor of the alternate reality created by Depp and crew in the POTC sagas. In addition to the “rules” regarding things piratey, we see letters from Elizabeth Swann and various side comments regarding characters and circumstances familiar to fans. A fun addition to even a modest POTC fan’s collection.

A fun and interesting introduction to various aspects of pirates and in general, life aboard a sailing ship during the “Golden Age Of Pirates”.

Also a nice explanation and highlighting of various parts of the Disney Movies “Pirates of The Caribbean”.

How can anyone not rate this book 5 stars. The book is based on the premise that Mr. Gibbs wrote down the pirate code since he was always explaining it on all three POC movies. Its an easy read and a very thorough narrative of pirate history. I would recommend to anyone interested in learning more than what POC has taught us about pirates.
