@Superaug1 I guess it depends on where you are staying. When we stayed near Falmouth, if you like hummingbirds, there’s the Rockland’s Bird Sanctuary that was fairly close. The hummers actually sit on your finger and will drink nectar from a bottle! We loved it!

Love Your Video of Jamaica. I am going there for my first time for my Son wedding. I would love to know more were to go to see birds. thank you.

The news is simply trying to get ratings and viewers. Too bad they can’t just report the truth anymore. And sheesh, every country has problems. The US news reported yesterday how horribly out of control the Drug prob is in Vancouver, BC where our Olympics is going to take place. I loved Jamaica and the people we met! Ire!

Jamaica is truly beutiful.I left JA when I was 6 years of age and Just visited the real JA 2 weeks ago.Spent 3 weeks visiting my place of birth in St.Thomas and also stayed in Port Antonio for me the real Jamaica.Staying with the normal working klass people they where all so warmhearted, Went hyking with two Rastamen took a trip to the Ria Grande Just wanted to look but again a Rasta took me rafting for about 4 hrs for next to nothing.

It was a awsum home coming after 45years.

I’ll be there for 2 weeks but my cousins will be there for 3 months until school starts in august but I gotta go back to work and school, and yeah I will be touring around, maybe not as much as you did.

  11. JCVdude on September 7th, 2010 12:11 am

Oh lucky you! Are you staying for a while? Will you get to tour around a bit?

  12. kevdem18 on September 7th, 2010 12:21 am

I know Starfish! Many years ago it was Trelawny Beach, my Granddad used to be a chef there when I was a kid. I’ll be in Jamaica next month with my 2 small cousins who hardly know Jamaica and my aunt. I’ve watched all your videos though.

  13. JCVdude on September 7th, 2010 12:29 am

It is very beautiful around Falmouth. We stayed near there, in the Starfish Trelawny. I loved Jamaica – totally my favorite! I’m so glad you can see more of your country thru our vids. We would love to see more too. :)

Even though my country is so small I have never been to some places especially on the Interior I was born in America but I grew up on the north coast lived in Falmouth with my Grandparents went to school in Montego Bay. But I rarely had a chance to see many of the places I saw in your vids maybe i took it for granted. Thank you for letting me ’stop and smell the roses’ for a while.

  23. mikipryor on September 7th, 2010 6:41 am

belize has both – high end and cheap accomodations – what is does NOT have is good roads – i traveled by small planes – which are surprisingly inexpensive within the country- i bargained for rooms (off season) and paid $99 US /week for funky but adequate places to stay. fruit is abundant and delicious – i bought from farmers who would drive a truckload into town and sell from back of the truck. did not skimp on dive/scuba day trips – but went with best @ $75 – 100/day.
