Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort – February 2010

This is where my family and I spent our vaction this year (February 2010) and we walked away from Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort with great memories. We have spent other vacations at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort twice and the All Star Movies Resort but Caribbean Beach has been our favorite so far. I walked around the resort and filmed as much as I could (including our room) so it would give others a good idea of what this resort has to offer. We stayed in the Jamaica section of Caribbean Beach so it wasn’t to far to walk to the food court and big pools. They do have a bus that only travels in the resort at the regular bus stops so that makes it a bit easier for you to get places inside the resort. I would highly recommend staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort and we may even get back there ourselves in the future. I would be happy to answer any questions about the resort that I can if you want to leave a comment.

@BittersweetDream You should love this resort this summer! I thought the rooms here were just right in my opinion. They weren’t huge in any manor but I wouldn’t say they were small either. I don’t know if you watched the video all the way through but at the end I do film the whole room. This was a corner room also and not sandwiched in between two other rooms, I don’t know if that matters in the size of the room either. We have always had a corner room so I can’t compare them. Enjoy this summer!
Me and my family are staying there this summer for two weeks. Are the rooms very small? Because we stayed 3 people at the All Star Movies last year, and we loved it, but thought the rooms were kind of small.
@bozez1 Well hmm? Do you have kids? if so I would say give the All Star Movie Resort a try because it’s a little more geared toward kids although its nice for adults also. We stayed there and it was nice but I prefer a Port Orleans, Caribbean Beach style resort or you could say the moderate resorts better. The All Star Movie Resort is visually exciting for kids because of the way they have things decorated from all the movies and things. Then give Caribbean Beach a try the next time
Hi, stayed at Port Orleans and Coronado but need to decide between Caribbean and All Str Movies this time. For the difference of $200. While money is not the overriding issue, it’s still $200 bucks. What are your thoughts.
thanks
@ROCKBANDVonAmp It’s a great resort and every Disney resort I have stayed in has been great and the people go out of their way to help you with anything. I would highly recommend staying on Disney property if you ever get to the parks. It is much better than driving there and parking at each park. You can take the Disney transportation from any resort to any park Disney has for free. Thanks for stopping by and commenting..
Wow – that’s a really beautiful resort! I’ve been to Destin, FL but never to any of the Disney resorts (or even to the Disney park). GREAT footage – felt like I was there! -Tony
i stayed in the Jamaica section last year it was really great! i cant wait to go again in august!
)))
@WDWMom2jhe We liked Jamaica a lot and don’t know if we will request that section again next year or not yet.. I liked walking across the bridge onto that little island and over to the Food/Pool area. We were there around February 22nd and it was real cool a couple of the days but we enjoyed it anyhow.
@dr5fr5 I couldn’t agree with you more about the resort and workers there being top notch. It was such a nice stay there we are planning another trip to CBR in 2011, can’t wait! Enjoy your June trip there.. thanks for stopping by and commenting.
We stayed at CBR in February too. Jamaica is our favorite Island Village, though we stayed in Martinique this time around. It is a great family resort!
My Wife and I have stayed at DCBR many times and it is our favourite.
We are returning June 12/2010 again for some Disney hospitality.
The workers at the Caribean Beach Resort bend over backwards to
make your stay magical. Please check out this resort on your next
visit . This video brings back lots of past and future memories of
this beautiful resort

Staying here in October. Thank you for the video. It looks great!
I loved staying here at Caribbean Beach and would stay again. We like trying different resorts though and Saratoga Springs does look nice from what I have seen of it.
Is that Disney Vacation Club members? you spoke of? Are you limited to where you stay when your a member, I’m not sure how that all works.
THIS LOOKS NICE saw it last time I went to disney WERE DVC MEMBER S AND ALWAYS STAY AT SARATOGA SPRINGS IS NICE!!!
My days of staying off Disney property are over! Since you can get such good deals and use their transportation it is much nicer to stay on Disney property I feel. Saratoga Springs look like a really nice resort also..
That looks like a cool resort! The first time I went to Disney (2002), we satyed off disney. The second time, (2009) I stayed at Saratoga Springs!
