Does everybody speak English in the Caribbean?
Answered By Editor
You will be surprised if you expect people in
the Caribbean to speak English. Some citizens
of the Caribbean can speak English, but most
do not. For example, many speak French.
Generally the ones who speak English are the
personnel in hotels, entertainment centers,
and recreational centers. They are trained to
speak in English so they can serve Americans
and other English-speaking tourists.
